Over the summer holidays, Trafford Palazzo is throwing a carnival bonanza full of free activities for all ages to enjoy. The retail and leisure space located within TraffordCity will be home to the ‘TP Summer Carnival’ offering a range of activities spread across each week starting from Saturday 29th July – Monday 28th August.

TP Carnival will include free events ranging from circus workshops to crafts – five days a week for a month in the airy and light space on the ground floor of Trafford Palazzo.

Every Monday, families can take part in circus workshops and try their hand at baton throwing and stilt walking, whilst every Wednesday, guests can enjoy a ‘fun at the fair’ days with a range of fairground style activities on offer. Heading into each weekend the carnival will host a dance school on Fridays, live stage shows on Saturdays, and Our Kids Social will be hosting carnival tote bag and mask making to end each week on Sundays.

Food and drink will be available at TP Carnival with a selection of food vendors offering healthy grab and go summer lunch options and a selection of sweet treats. There will also be live DJ’s, face painting, and fairground games in between the jam-packed activity schedule.

Kate Holland, Senior Marketing Business Partner at Peel L&P, said: “After a successful launch of last year’s Summer Fest, we’re thrilled to bring another free event experience for visitors to enjoy this summer holidays.

“The introduction of TP Summer Carnival is all part of our wider offering to make Trafford Palazzo the go-to place for fun for everyone this summer. Not only do we have the opening of the crown jewels of bowling King Pins next month, but we also have Nerf Action Experience joining our roster of activities available in August. Both additions along with already existing Legoland and Sea Life make Trafford Palazzo the place to be this summer.”

Entry to the Summer Carnival and all activities are free of charge and will be open Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 29th July – 28th August. To access Trafford Palazzo, there is ample free parking available as well as public transport access via the metrolink.
