Local businessman and Trafford councillor Phil Eckersley has been selected as Conservative candidate for Mayor of Greater Manchester.
In a short statement he posted on X
”I’m honoured to have been selected and truly grateful to the membership for placing their trust in me.I’m proud to represent @Conservatives and will work hard to give people across GM a strong voice, a serious alternative, and a campaign they can believe in.”
He founded Bridgewater Home Care in 2010 in Wigan and has grown it into a successful care business supporting vulnerable and older people across the region, while employing more than 100 staff
