Sometimes, we don’t always fancy a full night out on the town but we still want to get out and enjoy Manchester. Luckily, there is plenty on offer for you to do if none of your group feels like hitting a club. Here are some of the top things to do in Manchester if you don’t feel like getting dressed up for a night out.

Head to a Casino

If you don’t want a full night out but still want a bit of glamour and some great drinks, a trip to a casino might be just what you are after. This offers you the perfect chance to enjoy some great games and let your hair down without the need to head to a club. There are many different casinos in Manchester and they can all offer you something unique.

Make sure you brush up on your skills beforehand so you are not left confused about what games you are playing. Find a good pay by mobile casino so you are able to keep all your practice rounds easily controlled from your smartphone.

Bowling

There’s nothing quite like slipping on a pair of bowling shoes and taking a spin on the lanes. Head to the All Star Lanes in the Great Northern Building for some great deals throughout the week. You can pick up multiple games for quite a bargain per person and also tuck into delicious treats like a coke float. It is the perfect way to spend your evenings with your friends playing a fun game.

Comedy Nights

If you instead fancy a bit of a giggle, there is nowhere better to go than the Frog & Bucket Comedy Club. This is home to some of the best local comedy Manchester has to offer and you never know who you are going to quite bump into. The best night by far is the Open Mic Night, Beat the Frog. Some of the North’s top comedic talent found their start here including Peter Kay, John Bishop, and more. Head along, and if you think you have what it takes then consider hopping up on stage!

Watch a Film at the Plaza

The Plaza might be in Stockport but it is worth a trip out if you are looking for something fun and alternative to do. This historic building is a 1930s cinema and it is still fully functioning! You can head here for some amazing films, both modern and old, and you can find yourself entertained by the organist who emerges from the floor to accompany the acts. It is definitely an experience for any film buffs.

Manchester has a reputation for being a city of clubs and bars but it is so much more than that. There are things to do around every corner and plenty of opportunities available for anyone who does not want to go to a club for their big night out. Give one of the venues above a try with your friends; it could result in one of the most fun night’s you have ever had.
