Toast PR has been tasked with raising awareness of new commercial fit-out specialist, Eatock Design and Build.  Toast has been handed the brief to deliver public relations activity around the launch as well as ongoing news and announcements for the new venture.

Launched by Manchester’s Paul Eatock (formerly of Diamond Interiors and Spatial Office Environments), Eatock Design and Build, based on Deansgate, will operate nationally servicing the office and commercial sector delivering projects of all sizes including full reconfigurations and extensive refurbishments. The company designs, fits, refurbishes and builds Covid secure and environmentally friendly workspaces, retail fit outs and commercial property developments, responding to increasing demand from clients seeking to adapt their offices to welcome back staff who have been working from home since lockdown.

Eatock has already hit the ground running with several client wins. One of its first contracts is with online retailer, I Saw It First, which is looking to redesign its reception area at its head office in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.

Paul says: “We’re launching the company at a critical time, with Covid secure measures being an essential part of the scope of work for many projects. Businesses are beginning to welcome staff back and are embracing a combination of working from the office and the home. This means they are looking at how the design of the office works in the current climate of social distancing and using the space in a smarter way so that staff feel safe while also enjoying being back in a work environment.

”We wanted to work with a PR company that knows the UK property scene and Toast PR has a fantastic track record for delivering effective and successful company launches and public relations campaigns. We’re confident the team will do a brilliant job and place us firmly on the property map, making us a first choice fit out specialist for offices and workplaces around the country.”

43-year-old Paul, says a health scare last year, which saw him diagnosed with a benign brain tumour, had prompted him to re-evaluate his future, leading to the launch of Eatock Design and Build.

He adds: “I’ve had a tricky year health-wise but now I’m fighting fit and ready to take on the challenge of launching my own business. I’m excited by a promising start and the opportunities my network has already given me.”

Julia Mitchell, MD at Toast PR, says: “Our paths have crossed several times over the last few years as we’ve worked with Paul at previous companies so we’re delighted he approached us to work on this exciting new business with him. We look forward to capitalising on Paul’s great experience and network to help raise awareness of Eatock Design and Build among both media and prospects.”

Paul is one of Manchester’s leading experts in office fit-outs and joined the sector 12 years ago having worked in retail management. He started with Diamond Interiors and went onto co-found Spatial Office Environments, a fit-out and furniture company based in Manchester in 2014 and grew the firm to a £5m turnover business in four years. He left Spatial to re-join Diamond Interiors in 2018.

Paul has worked on a number of multi-million pound large scale projects including the headquarters of Car Finance 24/7 in Manchester as well as Euro Garages’ head office in Blackburn. Paul also designed the Kensington home of Zubair Issa, the billionaire co-founder of Euro Garages.
