Police have arrested another man following the murder of 32-year-old Zikel Bobmanuel in Openshaw just over a week ago
A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and remains in custody ahead of being questioned by officers in GMP’s Major Incident Team.
Two people have been charged with Zikel’s murder after he died of gunshot wounds at an address in Wellard Street on the 25th March
Detective Inspector Matthew Hamer of GMP’s Major Incident Team, said “We have a team of detectives working round the clock to establish the circumstances leading up to Zikel’s death.
“Our inquiries are far from over and we are still appealing for information to help with our investigation, anyone can contact us with information regardless of how insignificant it may seem.
“Anyone who may have any information is urged to do the right thing and report it – it may be crucial in our inquiries.
