A man was kidnaped by four men who attacked a man before bundling him into the back seat of a car in Sale on Wednesday evening,police have confirmed
The victim was bundled into the back of a Silver BMW 3 Series before making off Clarendon Road.
There have been no arrests made at this stage.
Detective Inspector Paul Costello from Trafford CID said: “We have been working hard to identify the suspects in this incident that came into us on Wednesday evening.
“This is understandably a cause for concern for the local residents in the Sale area but we want to ensure the community and Greater Manchester as a whole that this is an isolated incident.
“Thankfully, we have managed to locate the victim in this case, and we have worked closely with him.
“We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident and anyone with information to make contact with us – this includes if you have relevant footage such as CCTV, mobile or dashcam.
