Celebrate The Pen and Pencil’s 3rd Birthday with the Ultimate Party

The Pen and Pencil is turning 3 this September! To celebrate they will be throwing the ultimate birthday bash with disco heavy weight The Reflex, and support from Reeta, Marco Giannini and Tom Malam on Saturday 29^th September and Sunday 30^th September.

The Reflex will be spinning classic and modern day heat for an incredible birthday party. Captivated by the remix from an early age, London-based French native Nicolas Laugier, aka The Reflex, takes his cue from the first wave of disco remixers by using only the original sounds from the master tapes (or stems) to breathe new life into soul, pop and disco classics. Imaginative arrangements, boxfresh sonics and intricate editing make The Reflex Revisions rocket fuel for every DJ set.

Reeta, who combines cutting edge house tracks with classic disco, will be joining The Reflex. Along with Marco Giannini, broadcaster on MCR Live and former resident DJ at Sankeys Soap and the Warehouse Project, and Tom Malam one of their favourite Manchester based DJs playing funk, Soul, disco & laid back beats.

There will also be £5 birthday cocktails, a professional makeup artist glittering party-goers up, and opportunities to win prizes  throughout the night!

The event runs from 8pm-2am and is free entry.

But the celebrations don’t end there … join The Pen and Pencil for The Morning-After Birthday Brunch!

The Pen and Pencil will be holding an eggs-tra special morning-after birthday brunch on the Sunday morning. In honour of their 3rd birthday The Pen and Pencil are taking their signature dish “The Eggs Pen and Pencil” and multiplying it by three for a celebratory brunch showstopper – three layers of sausage patty, pancetta, bacon, tomato  and onion seed chutney with homemade hollandaise and poached eggs, served between stacks of sourdough.

All attendees on the Saturday night will also be invited to the morning-after birthday brunch, with anyone who attends the party receiving 10% off their bill if they make it in for brunch the next morning!

Bloody Marys will also be just £5 for that perfect hangover fix.
