The jewel in Manchester’s fundraising party calendar, The Mirror Ball. is this year offering a few tables to the public for the very first time.

The gala knees up which is organised by celeb hairdresser extraordinaire Andrew Trott Barn at Manchester’s favourite hotel, The Lowry Hotel, is in its tenth year in 2020.  This year it will take place on Friday 6 March and as always will raise money for a charity very close to Andrew’s heart Forever Manchester.

Forever Manchester is a charity that has raised money to fund and support community activity across Greater Manchester for 30 years.

Every year the guest list boasts some of the city’s most well known faces and performers alongside long time supporters of the charity from the business and creative world. Performances over the past nine years have come from Gareth Gates and Faye Brookes, Shayne Ward, Catherine Tyldesley and Will Mellor along with 90’s TV stars Trev and Simon and pop group 911.

Guests come dressed to the nines as Andrew always insists that everyone dress to impress and 2020 will be no different as The Mirror Ball celebrates the glitz, glam and sparkle that makes it Glam Up North.

There are two tables available to buy – a Silver Table (£900) or a Gold Table (£1500), both are for 10 people.

The Silver table offers guests a four course dinner with coffee, welcome drink, three bottles of wine on the table and a fantastic evening of entertainment including a DJ, raffle and auction with a few surprise performances throughout.

The Gold table packages puts guests at the heart of the event with a  prime position for the stage, additional champagne on your table, goody bags for your guests etc.

“The  Mirror Ball is a really great party – every year our guests come back to The Lowry Hotel and every year they tell us they wouldn’t miss it. However a few of our stalwart guests are unable to attend this year and we felt that, as we enjoy our tenth year, this was the right time to open up the guest list.  We don’t anticipate the tables being available for long so if you want to join us please get in touch asap.”

The team behind The Mirror Ball, who all volunteer their time, includes Natalie Grey from interior design and branding studio NoChintz, Siobhan Hanley from event and PR agency Siobhan Hanley Communications, Daisy Whitehouse from PR and marketing consultancy Down at the Social and marketing and place making specialist, Emma James.  Support also comes from Manchester’s number one event design specialist Verdure Floral Design.
