Manchester Arndale is hosting a monster birthday celebration this weekend with a very special storytelling event to honour The Gruffalo’s 20th birthday!
Head to Exchange Court on Saturday 9 March (12-6pm) and Sunday 10 March (11am-5pm) for a live storytelling experience of The Gruffalo in partnership with Z-arts. The event includes the chance for your little ones to meet the monster himself, and arts and crafts activities, where you can make your own Julia Donaldson inspired mini masterpiece.
And since it’s World Book Day this week, Manchester Arndale stores are celebrating fantastic books and stories with a range of family-friendly events, giveaways and exclusive offers. Pop into the Disney Store this weekend for a Beauty & The Beast storytelling experience, or head to Waterstones on World Book Day to take on their ‘Reading Aloud Challenge’.
