Adam Reid at The French is set to host an exclusive dinner next month as the esteemed chef collaborates with Hubert de Billy from the luxury Champagne house, Pol Roger.

Taking place on Friday 6th October, the evening will consist of a four-course dinner, where Adam’s unique Northern cooking will be paired with wines, introduced and described by none other than Monsieur de Billy, Pol Roger’s great great-grandson and the 5th generation of the family-owned Champagne house.

Starting at 6.30pm, guests will be given the opportunity to taste the prestigious Pol Roger Champagne with some snacks on arrival, a favourite among many British Army Regiments as well as late Prime Minister, Sir Winston Churchill.

Adam Reid joined The French back in 2013 as Head Chef, before taking over as Chef-Patron in 2016. Since then, he has been awarded 4 AA rosettes, as well as going on to win BBC’s prestigious Great British Menu competition twice, with his dessert Golden Empire in 2016, and his main course ‘Comfort Food Sounds Good’ in 2019.

Tickets for this event are strictly limited and priced at £250.00 per person. Please note that due to the nature of this event, specific dietary requirements will not be available to be catered for including vegan and dairy-free diets.
