For the first time in almost 50 years the Official Manchester Caribbean Carnival is bringing its unique sounds and vibes to an unmissable live online celebration.
Due to the unprecedented circumstances amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, the yearly Carnival celebration will be replicated online with a mix of live and pre- recorded displays of culture, heritage and performance.
On August 8 and 9, Carnival organisers MCTC will be honouring the legacy of carnival with a feast of entertainment including live performances, vibrant dance and steel bands displays. As well as plenty of food demonstrations, community talks, but most importantly the island sounds of Soca, Reggae, Calypso and many more.
