Corn Exchange Manchester is proud to announce the team will cycle an impressive 205 miles to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Manchester Children’s Hospital.

The charity bike ride will raise money for both hospitals and awareness for all the amazing work done by the doctors and nurses, as well as the bravery of all their young patients. The cycle will take place on Thursday 23rd September in the Corn Exchange atrium.

The 205 miles represents the distance between Corn Exchange Manchester and Great Ormond Street. For their efforts, the team are seeking donations, as little or as much as possible, and volunteers for the cycle.

Great Ormond Street Hospital is a children’s hospital located in the Bloomsbury area of London. The hospital is the largest centre for child’s heart surgery in the UK and has relied heavily on donations since first opening.

The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital is one of the busiest and largest children’s hospitals in the UK, with over 300 paediatric beds and 60 neonatal cots. The hospital treats over 180,000 patients annually and opened back in 2009.

Liam Mooney, General Manager at the Corn Exchange, said, “We are so proud to announce our charity bike ride which will take place at Corn Exchange and raise money for two amazing UK children’s hospitals.

It will be incredible to see both The Corn Exchange team and the Manchester community coming together for an incredible cause. The work done by both children’s hospitals is phenomenal and this is our way of sending a massive thank you!”
