An exciting new entertainment venue with interactive bowling lanes and arcade opens in Manchester city centre.

Tenpin is set to open a brand-new bowling alley and entertainment centre at the Printworks in Manchester city centre.

With twelve lanes of interactive bowling, the new entertainment centre will also feature two bars, a state-of-the-art arcade, as well as Table Tennis, American Pool tables, Beer Pong, Shuffleboard tables and a Karaoke room.

Tenpin Manchester Printworks will take over the old Hard Rock Casino unit within the Printworks, spanning two floors, and featuring the latest pioneering technology in bowling. The new site will boast interactive bowling lanes with high-speed infrared cameras that detect the ball’s movement to project graphics on to the lane.

The new venue which is now open to the public will have a totally new look and feel compared to traditional old-school entertainment venues and is unlike anything Tenpin has ever done before.

While the new centre features the latest in entertainment, Tenpin have also set out to create a destination for food & drink, with two bars, and an American style eatery.

The delicious new food menu, exclusive to Manchester, features a wide selection of food to feast from, including burgers, hot dogs & sharers, all available with an on-lane service. There is also a fantastic selection of drinks including popular cocktails, served from both of the venue’s new bars.

The new site, which is Tenpin’s 46th in the UK, was originally set to open over the summer but was delayed due to the global pandemic. It will be the first Tenpin site in the UK where all bowling lanes are interactive.

The perfect location for entertainment within your social bubble, Tenpin Manchester Printworks has been designed to deliver a full experience for guests, from entertainment, through to dinner, and late-night drinks.

Guests at the new venue will be able to enjoy a game of bowling, food and a drink from £15pp, or a game of bowling and a drink from just £9pp.

“We’re really pleased to finally be able to reveal our incredible new Manchester venue to the city. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to build something that Manchester will love and the team have created an incredible space where guests can drink, eat and play all under one roof.

We’re excited to be the first Tenpin venue to have all interactive lanes, and we’ve also added Beer Pong, Shuffleboard tables and a Karaoke room to our range of entertainment options for the first time too. We want every person who visits us to feel like they could lose a whole day in here!”

(Paul Grayson, GM of the new venue)

Tenpin Manchester will be the bowling giant’s first new venue this year, with their last new attraction opening in Falkirk in 2019. The new destination will create more than thirty new jobs in Manchester’s hospitality industry.

The new venue will be opened in-line with the Government guidance, with a maximum group size of six guests from one social bubble. To ensure social distancing is adhered to, Tenpin Manchester will initially be opening eight out of the twelve lanes, to give plenty of room for each group of bowlers.

Each bowling lane area will be sanitised after every customer has finished their game, and prior to a new customer using the same lane. Guests are asked to wear their own shoes to bowl in and to refrain from wearing open toes, heels or wedges.

The arcade, games tables and all high hand-contact items will be cleaned at the start of each day, and regularly cleaned throughout the day. A face covering must be worn by guests at all times unless consuming food and drink, and all food can be ordered directly to a table or lane via an app.
