Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has made his first visit to Ukraine to meet President Zelensky in Kyiv today

In a joint news conference Sunak said that London will support Kyiv “until Ukraine wins,”

“And after that, we will support you as you rebuild your great country,”

He announced that the UK is to send Ukraine 120 anti-aircraft guns, radar stations and will also provide winter military equipment and humanitarian aid worth over $19 million.

President Zelensky announced

. “Since the first days of the war, Ukraine and the UK have been the strongest of allies… We discussed the most important issues both for our countries and for global security.”

Sunak said the U.K. will also continue to train Ukrainian personnel.

Zelensky said he and Sunak discussed ways to support Ukraine and Europe’s energy security, defense cooperation, export and humanitarian grain initiatives, and diplomatic relations.
