Paintsmiths of Bristol, are highly-skilled mural artists with a background in graffiti and street art. His eclectic works decorate the walls of some iconic cities worldwide – including Berlin, Amsterdam, Barcelona and New York. He has been active in Manchester for over 18 years, working on a number of large-scale murals including some of the city’s best loved artworks such as ’22 Bees’ which commemorates those who lost their lives in the Manchester Arena attack.
Councillor David Meller, Cabinet Member for Economy and Regeneration at Stockport Council said: “All four artworks are a welcome and very colourful addition to the Underbanks. They demonstrate how we’re using Stockport’s rich heritage to push our town centre into the future.

“Each artwork has a unique story to tell, celebrating the past, present and future of this very special area. If you haven’t visited the Underbanks yet, we’ve had an influx of new bars, restaurants and independent businesses, who have all been attracted to its unique character, as well as our ambitious plans.
