For close to 10 years, The Oast House has served up its iconic kebabs to hungry punters across the North, but as every Mancunian knows – scoring a table to sit and enjoy them to their fullest can be challenging during the busy summer months.

Step forward, The Oast House’s new street food menu – designed to be enjoyed mid-drink
without ever having to leave the courtyard.

Inspired by the best street food around the world, the menu, available from Thursday 12 th
August, will serve The Oast House’s take on classic street eats such as Greek Gyros, Elote
(that’s loaded grilled corn from Mexico to you and I), alongside various loaded fries.

Further afield, the chefs have been inspired by the French-Vietnamese hybrid of Banh Mi – a soft petit baguette filled with fresh pickled vegetables, roasted belly pork and zingy
condiments.

Looking closer to home, The Oast House has created standing-friendly versions of British
classic Fish and Chips – complete with Manchester caviar (Mushy Peas) and Gravy – and a
new take on the American dive-bar-snack of Chicken Wings – by marinading them in Aperol
to give a tangy twist!

Danny Leach, General Manager of The Oast House, said, “We often see guests join our
popular courtyard for drinks but unable to resist our tasty table menu, but Hanging Kebabs
were never designed to be standing Kebabs!

Guests already joining us for drinks can enjoy tasty food without having to leave our sun-
trap courtyard – adding to the reasons of it being a Summer to remember!”

Starting at just £3.50 a dish, the street food menu will be served from The Oast House’s
main kitchen on from 12 th August for a limited-time only.
