My Fitted Bedroom has re-opened its Stockport showroom not only with a fresh range of fitted bedroom displays but a new collection of fitted kitchens that are now available to customers throughout the region.

The online furniture business, which also retails fitted bedrooms throughout the UK via its home design service, closed its 8000sqft Wellington Road store in December when the country went into the third lockdown. But it’s now reopened with lifestyle displays showcasing latest looks in bedrooms and kitchens.  It designs, manufactures and installs bespoke kitchens across Cheshire and the North West.

Barry Rourke, My Fitted Bedroom and Kitchen director, said, “While we were able to still operate online during the lockdown, we used the time when the showroom was closed to give it a complete makeover, and add the most current and popular products to our 20+ displays. And we’re delighted to now be able to welcome customers back into store, where we’re operating to government safety guidelines.

Demand for fitted bedrooms is currently at an all-time high, in line with the overall consumer home renovation boom. Homeowners are investing in home improvements and much of the demand is being driven by customers looking to make the most of their space with clever storage and furniture that is designed to their personal needs.

Our decision to extend our portfolio with kitchens also comes on the back on customer demand.  We were increasingly being asked for fitted kitchens from happy bedroom customers, and this year has been the ideal time to add this to our portfolio. Kitchens will only be available in the North West, Midlands and areas of Merseyside for the time being, with a view to extend our reach in coming months. As well as showroom displays customers can find out more on our website.”
