To celebrate the launch of summer holiday blockbuster ‘Inside Out’ at Vue cinema, The Lowry Outlet, is bringing a green screen experience to its Waterside Food & Craft market, enabling children and families to become the stars of their own Disney Pixar film poster.
Taking place Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 August, the market is located in the outlet’s open-air Plaza and offers everything from artisan breads, handmade chocolates and local cheeses to award-winning sausages and traditional ales.
There’s also an abundance of craft stalls selling handmade gifts, homewares, jewellery, with live music courtesy of students from Salford College bringing the bustling marketplace to life.
The studio-lit green screen booth will be popping up inside the outlet centre on the Saturday and Sunday (11am – 5pm).
Families will have the opportunity to literally step inside the “Inside Out” story, with photographs featuring various scenes and characters from the film.
The experience is free and includes a print per person to take away. Other activities to join in throughout the weekend include badge making inspired by Disney Pixar characters and ‘Inside Out’ spot prize giveaways courtesy of the film’s official toy partner TOMY.
