Stagecoach Manchester staff from the Middleton and Hyde Road depots swapped four wheels for two as they cycled through Devon to raise money for Manchester charity, Prevent Breast Cancer.

Mike Redeyoff, Scott Walker, Warren Harris, Nick Painter and Steve Robinson took on the challenging Taka Trail from Braunton to Meeth, a 30 mile stretch along the old railways of North Devon, and raised nearly £500 for Stagecoach Manchester’s charity of the year.

The money raised has been donated to Prevent Breast Cancer, formerly known as Genesis Breast Cancer Prevention, which undertakes ground-breaking research into the prediction and prevention of breast cancer, a disease which 50,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with each year.
