110 years ago, Victoria Baths first opened to the public in September 1906.

To celebrate the occasion, and to raise funds for their new Restoration goal, the baths are joining forces with Real Junk Food Manchester for a birthday dinner with a difference!

Real Junk Food Manchester and their head chef Mary-Ellen McTague will create a celebration feast of delightful dishes for us to share and savour, made entirely of perfectly edible ingredients that would otherwise have gone to waste. This family-style celebration meal, served in the Males 2nd Class Hall, will be served with complementary pre-dinner drink, and music dished up in the Gala Pool and Turkish Baths Rest Room.

The Gala Pool will be filled with water specially for the birthday week celebrations but the dress code for dinner is most definitely party-wear, not cossies!

And all for a very special cause: the restoration and re-opening of the beautiful, historic Turkish Baths suite. In total they  raising £3.5m for the Turkish Baths restoration and are already well on their way.
