One person has been treated for serious injuries after a shooting in Urmston yesterday evening
The incident happened around 8.45 on Higher Road
Chief Inspector Mark Allinson, Force Critical Incident Manager, said: “At around 8:42pm (Friday 16 January), we were called to reports of a firearms discharge on Higher Road, Urmston.
“Emergency services have treated one casualty at the scene with serious injuries.
“A scene is in place and Higher Road remains closed off to the public.
“We have deployed extra patrols around the local area while we continue our enquiries”.
