Salvi’s Deansgate Square will be celebrating its 1st birthday in style, with a week of special birthday dishes and exclusive cocktails which will be available each day at the venue from Sunday 14th – Wednesday 17th May. This will be followed by a huge party on Thursday 18th May.
In addition, the Salvi’s team has been working on a very exciting collaboration with luxury ice cream brand Grandpa Greene’s to bring you a top secret yet-to-be-announced, bespoke birthday gelato that you will be able to order alongside the special dishes and cocktails.
This marks the second special creation between Salvi’s and the local artisanal ice cream experts, as they have been locked in the lab for weeks working on a stunning Parmesan ice cream that will also be available all week at Deansgate Square.
On Sunday 14th Salvi’s Deansgate Square will offer a special beetroot risotto with Salvi’s x Grandpa Greene’s Parmesan ice-cream alongside a Negroni Americano (Campari, vermouth and soda water), while on Monday 15th guests can try the montanara (crispy fried pizza dough) with lardo and pesto with the Godfather cocktail (scotch, whiskey, amaretto).
Tuesday 16th is for pizza lovers with an assortment of pizzetti (mini pizzas) on the specials board, and the Limoncello Mojito (white rum, limoncello, lime juice, mint leaves, soda water, syrup), while Wednesday 17th will see Maurizio Cecco’s very own homemade truffle ravioli as well as the outrageously tasty Lambrusco Spritz (Lambrusco, amaro, grapefruit juice, sparkling water).
The family-run Manchester favourite will also be throwing a massive party packed full of authentic Italian food and drink, and a huge line-up of showstopping entertainment on Thursday 18th May as a thank you to all of its customers for 12 months of support.
Lucky attendees can expect to taste all the exclusive birthday week special dishes, cocktails, s well as both of the brand-new Grandpa Greene’s ice cream collaborations, before enjoying some Salvi’s style entertainment with some sensational party sounds provided by a killer line-up of DJs, sax players, percussionists, and singers, plus a lot more surprises to be revealed. The last 12 months have been one helluva a journey for Salvi’s after launching the new site straight off the back of the pandemic, and this upcoming week of fun is a chance to bring everyone together to eat, drink, dance and just enjoy everything that the brand stands for.
