It’s that time of year. Just as one festival is ending, another is beginning and this weekend, it’s the turn of Rochdale.

Now in it’s seventh year, the Feel Good Festival is a free event oraganised by Rochdale Town Centre Management and Rochdale Borough Council.

The event runs over two days, the 29th and 30th August and features live music from top name acts and the finest cookery from some of the world’s best known celebrity chefs including Ainsley Harriot and Andrew Nutter as well as a food village and market. There are also events happening in the towns around the borough and venues within the town centre prior to the weekend of the festival weekend.

The Celebrity Kitchen is running on both days and the Main Music Stage runs on Saturday from 3pm.

Amongst those appearing on the main stage are indie pop outfit Scouting for Girls, ska band The Selecter and Bird to Beast.
