Boutique hotel and guesthouse The Villas Residence has won the title for Best Hotel in Greater Manchester in the HotelsCombined Recognition of Excellence awards 2017.

The Recognition of Excellence is an annual award announced in the first quarter of every year, with 2017 its inaugural year.

Located in Rochdale, The Villas Residence beat 651 other properties in Greater Manchester available via the world’s leading hotel price comparison platform, HotelsCombined. The Villa Residence was originally shortlisted for the award due to outstanding customer satisfaction and averaging a rating of between 9 and 10 in guest reviews.

The Villas Residence is a 19th century boutique property originally built as a Victorian gentleman’s residence. It now offers five luxurious antique-furnished rooms to reflect the property’s character, each featuring en suite or private bathrooms. Surrounded by manicured gardens, the hotel is dog friendly and offers complimentary tea and sandwiches on arrival.
