As the government’s new tiered restrictions are enforced across the UK, Legoland Discovery Centre Manchester has launched a new safe and socially distanced Adult LEGO Night.

The evening, to be hosted on Thursday, October 22nd encourages adults to realise their inner-child and let off some much-needed steam.  And with sales of the much-loved brick soaring during the lockdown as more families build together and adults discover the therapeutic and meditational benefits of LEGO® play, the night looks set to be a success.

There are no limits to the fun to be had with guests invited to experience the attraction’s Kingdom Quest and Merlin’s Apprentice rides, settle in for a LEGO movie in the attraction’s 4D cinema and go head-to-head in ‘The Great LEGO Race VR Experience.’

Build challenges, hosted by Master Model Builder James Windle, one of only 25 Master Model Builders in the world, will put guests’ creative skills to the test, with a series of prizes for the best creation.

For those who, like celebrity LEGO fan David Beckham, prefer to simply get lost in a pile of bricks and build to their hearts content, there are plenty of socially distanced breakout spaces to be enjoyed.

“2020 has proven to be a difficult year for all.  If there is one thing it has taught us however it is the value of embracing the little things.  Over recent weeks we’ve been busy welcoming families back to our attractions to enjoy the inspiring and creative educational play.  Now it’s the turn of adults.

We invite all those with a love of LEGO® to join us and enjoy all the attraction has to offer.  At times like this we all deserve a little fun and we hope this night might raise a few smiles and help combat lockdown fatigue.”

(Stuart Jarman, General Manager Manchester Cluster Merlin Entertainments)
