WHILE a lot of the UK will be basking in the sunshine this weekend, those with delicate complexations might struggle in the strong summer rays.
The UK’s longest real snow slope, Chill Factore in Manchester has come to the rescue for those with red hair.
Chill Factore is offering the opportunity for redheads to take a break from the baking heat with free entry to the -4°C attraction with a choice of two activities, Snow Park or a Lift Pass.
Anyone with red hair will be able to visit the Chill Factore free of charge and enjoy some respite from the rays in the newly revamped Snow Park which offers guests the chance to ride double donuts or traditional sledges and have fun on the popular Ice Slide.
For those already a skier or snowboarder a free Lift Pass is available instead which allows guests a full hour on the main slope.
As temperatures are set to reach nearly 30 degrees over the next few days, redheads simply need to head to Chill Factore to be given the option of a Snow Park pass (worth £12.50) or a Lift Pass (worth £15) if they fancy skiing down the real snow slope for an ice cool breeze.
On providing a sanctuary to redheads during this current heatwave, Chill Factore CEO Morwenna Angove said, “We’re always looking at ways to put our slope to good use, not many places in the UK can offer minus temperatures to cool down in during a heatwave.
