Next Thursday (26th October), American fried chicken restaurant, Popeyes® UK, is officially opening the doors to its first restaurant, in Manchester.
The restaurant will officially open its doors at 11am on Thursday 26th October, at One Piccadilly Gardens. Last month, Popeyes® saw customers queue for more than 18 hours ahead of the first Popeyes® opening in Scotland. The new Manchester restaurant is expected to be equally popular, so guests are encouraged to arrive early to be in with a chance of winning exclusive prizes.
The all new American fried chicken restaurant will be located at One Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester, and will mark the brand’s 16th opening in 2023, and the 33rd opening since landing in the UK in November 2021.
To celebrate the launch, Popeyes® UK will be pulling out all the stops to showcase its Southern hospitality, including rolling out an orange carpet, giving away hundreds of the iconic Chicken Sandwich and hosting a live Mardi Gras style band, the Brass Funkeys, to bring the sound of New Orleans to Manchester.
On opening day, the first 3 people in the queue will win free Chicken Sandwiches for a whole year*. Additionally, the first 25 customers in the queue will also be rewarded with a free Chicken Sandwich and exclusive Popeyes® UK merchandise.
Not only that, to celebrate the launch of its new breakfast menu, Popeyes® UK will also be offering its new Big Cajun Roll to the first 25 customers in the queue on Friday 27th October. Breakfast will start at 8am, including the mouth-watering big breakfast roll, cajun hash browns and indulgent nutella-topped buttermilk biscuits.
