Police are appealing for information following a collision in Sale.
 

Police were called just after 10pm on Saturday 24 July, to reports of a single vehicle collision on Norris Road in Sale.

Officers attended, and found that a blue Mercedes had collided with an Oak Tree.

Three passengers, a 54 year old man, and two women aged 49 and 20, were injured in the incident. The 54 year old man has serious life changing injuries.

The driver of the vehicle left the scene prior to police attendance, and officers investigating are keen to trace him and speak with him as part of their inquiries.

Inquiries are on-going into the circumstances of the collision, forensic tests are being carried out on the vehicle, and officers want to hear from any witnesses or residents nearby, who may have seen anything, or captured anything on CCTV or dash cam footage at the time.
