Peter Kay returns to the Manchester O2 Apollo to host two very  special charity Q & A shows in aid of Laura Nuttall

Laura was 18 and in her first term at Uni when, after a couple of headaches and a routine eye test, she was given the devastating diagnosis of Glioblastoma, a grade 4 brain cancer with a prognosis of 12-18 months.

She has since been through 2 brain surgeries, 30 sessions of radiotherapy and 12 months of chemotherapy and soon exhausted all the treatment options available in the UK.

Her family identified experimental immunotherapy available in Germany and Laura’s been making regular trips out to Cologne when Covid has allowed. She is now 2.5 years post diagnosis and has just completed her second year at Manchester University.

She is also a young ambassador for the Brain Tumour Charity, supporting them with raising funds and awareness.

Laura’s doing really well but needs to continue to fund the treatment in order to stay one step ahead of the cancer and that’s a really expensive business.

All profits will go towards Doing It For Laura, a charity established to help pay for her treatment with a portion of the profits going towards The Brain Tumour Charity

Tickets go onsale Friday 30th July at 9am here.
