Two men have been charged by officers following a pursuit in Oldham.

Officers from GMP’s Tactical Vehicle Intercept Unit spotted a stolen Ford Fiesta in Newhey, Rochdale at around 2pm on 8th November.

Following a short pursuit, the Fiesta was involved in a collision on Dunwood Park Court, Shaw, Oldham.

A package was recovered and found to contain both suspected heroin and cocaine, along with a machete and a key to an additional suspected stolen vehicle was located.

Darien Kenworthy of no fixed abode, has been charged with two counts of handling stolen property, possession of an offensive weapon, and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

Bradley Jones of Beaconsfield Road, Rochdale, has also been charged with handling stolen property, possession of an offensive weapon, possession with intent to supply Class A drugs   as well as driving related offences.

Both males have been remanded in custody will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court this morning.
