The Stables, a new canteen-style concept bar & restaurant serving classic home comforts, is launching next week in Manchester city centre with a mouth-watering menu.
The soft launch of the industrial-style space in Enterprise City, a stone’s throw from Spinningfields and Deansgate-Castlefield, will see a lunch and dinner menu served from just £5.
Diners will be treated to a classic chippy lunch for £5, which consists of: sausages, chips, gravy, cheese, curry sauce, barms and vegetarian options available too. Served from 12.30pm – 2pm, with no booking required. Lunchtime diners will get a complimentary soft drink, tea or coffee during Wednesday and Thursday of the soft launch.
Dinner guests can choose from two curries on Wednesday (3 August) or two delicious pies on Thursday (4 August) 4.30pm – 6pm, for £8 per person, a great option for an after-work meal without any fuss.
Following the soft launch, the down-to-earth space will be open from Tuesday 9 August every Tuesday to Thursday to the public for lunch and dinner. The Stables is located on Lower Byrom Street, next to the Crystal Maze and Department Bonded Warehouse, and gives those in the area great value classic cooking.
Once part of Granada Studios and a feature of Coronation Street, The Stables has been reinvented to include a contemporary bar and professional kitchen under its vaulted beams, to cater for the thousands of workers set to move into the Enterprise City district in the coming months and years.

Operated by All Work & Social, the venue is also available for event hire all year round – from corporate events and parties to weddings. Events are available with dining packages from the head chef, drinks packages served by the in-house bar team, and a range of DJs, in partnership with Reform Radio.
