Adapted from the cult album by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Murder Ballads is the perfect Halloween treat!

Meet the regulars of O’Malley’s Bar, Millhaven, West Texas, 1882. The town has not been the same since a Stranger turned up at the Lee family cabin and left without a trace. The curse of the Stranger ripples through the town; Mary Lee thinks she is herself from 16 years ago, Stephen Lee starts calling himself Stagger Lee and turns into a murdering brute, and little Lottie is the prime suspect in a string of violent murders…

Described as – “A high octane, all guns blazing spectacle that should be seen by all audiences” by SG Fringe and, “Wild and Raucous Fun” by Miro Mag.

Liverpool based company The B Collective bring Murder Ballads to Waterside for one night only. The show is conceived as a hybrid of music theatre and cabaret and consists of four actor-musicians.

For those who enjoy fast-paced, high-energy gig and cabaret theatre with a darkly comic twist then this is the perfect show. Expect betrayals, bar brawls and blood baths, and the highest death count you’ll experience at the theatre!

Murder Ballads will play at Waterside, Sale on Thursday 31 October at 20:00. Tickets can be booked here.
