Morning Glory has been open in the restored Methodist Church on Oldham Street  Manchester’s Northern Quarter for just over a week now

Its all about grab and go food featuring four different Bagels, a vegan Hummus and Tofu, Ham and Cheese. Peaches, Goats Cheese and Chilli Jam and Roast Chicken

Manchester Tarts are on the menu co developed with a local Ancoat’s Bakery Vanillis as well as Macha and Berry Vegan buns

But it is of course all about the coffee which comes from Dark Arts as well as a Manchester branded Macha Kyoto Matcha

Twenty six year old Founder and Influencer Zach Hipps has been a devotee of the whole food scene, starting to work at an outlet just across the road from Morning Glory before working for five years at a local food and drinks magazine before coming full circle across the street from where he started

His influencer page ZackHipps is all about Manchester Food and drink, showing people the coolest coffee places in Manchester

There are of course many coffee shops in Manchester so I had to ask what would give them the unique and distinct edge

“We are the only ones using these beans and coffee nerds will know and appreciate this and the outlet is using different syrups and flavourings”

“A lot of the things we are doing is in the detail”Zack continues “but when you boil it down it is a coffee shop”he says laughing “but it is a coffee shop when we will always be thinking about how we could do it better and differently and be reactive”

He further believes that being a content creator exposes him to all the new trends so watch this space
