The nation’s food fans can imagine their cooking show debut from the comfort of their own homes during the COVID-19 lockdown thanks to MasterChef champion Simon Wood.

Wood, who has been keeping food fans entertained with his series of fun dishes from Big Mac Sauce to meat and potato plate pie, is back in the kitchen at Wood Manchester in a bid to keep Greater Manchester well fed.

As chef patron at Wood Manchester, Simon has made a name for some of his classic dishes including the enormous sharing Tomahawk and MasterChef winning dessert Citrus Tutti Frutti. In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has seen restaurants across the UK forced to close their doors, Simon and his team have pivoted service to provide some of the award-winning restaurant’s favourite dishes prepped and delivered for diners to finish and enjoy at home.

The menu, which offers individual dishes or 3 courses for £25 per person, is available for delivery on Thursday, Friday and Saturday weekly. Each dish is provided with all of the ingredients or pre-made elements required to create the dishes along with instructions as to how to cook or heat, plate and finish them just like a pro.

For anyone who needs a bit more help, Simon has also created a series of recipe videos which can be found on Instagram @WoodRestaurants or on Twitter @WoodRestaurants or at www.woodrestaurants.com

All deliveries, available across Greater Manchester and Cheshire, are contactless and left on the doorstep. Orders should be made at least 24 hours in advance via the Wood Manchester website
