The equestrian sector is set for a shake up as entrepreneur Mark Reeves teams up with digital agency magneticNorthto launch HOLDEN, a brand new equestrian fashion company.
Reeves and mN hope that the joint venture, which will be based in Manchester and London, will be the first step in a move to redefine the sector’s use of digital media.

The partners will be working collaboratively to help Reeves, who has spent the last eleven years conceptualising and creating products for other leading equestrian retailers, realise his own unique vision for a new kind of company: an equestrian fashion brand that celebrates creativity, diversity and the best of British design.
Reeves is passionate about the importance of having digital at the heart of his consumer engagement strategy. Through his collaboration with mN, he aims to ensure the modern customer is considered at every stage of HOLDEN’s development.
The collaborative enterprise will be the first of its kind for a sector that has, until now, been slow to take advantage of the opportunities offered by technologies. What’s more, HOLDEN will be setting the bar high for retail businesses in general, by placing digital thinking at the centre of the brand’s development from day one.
mN and Reeves are confident that their approach will result in a truly authentic and original UK brand, combining high-quality product design with a user-centred approach to customer experience.
Over the last fifteen years, mN has successfully developed several product-based ventures including physical products like MIXA and moviePeg as well as more recent specialist digital products like the Manchester Walking Tours platform, Under The Paving Stones. The team at mN are anticipating HOLDEN to be one of the most exciting entrepreneurial enterprises they have collaborated on to date.  

To help tell the brand’s story, the partners have launched the HOLDEN blog which will take people on a journey through the company’s development as it unfolds.

Products from the new range will be available to buy via HOLDEN’s social channels over the coming weeks, with the full ecommerce site set to go live this Autumn.
