Manchester’s most extravagant club night will be heading to the White Isle this Summer. After the roaring success since the start of this year, with shows in Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Brighton and London, La Discothèque will be hosting a series of pool parties at the home of the pool party, Ibiza Rocks. They will be spreading their joyfully glittering disco carnival spirit far and wide for all to hear!
La Discothèque will be making its name as Ibiza’s new kid on the block at the Balearic mecca that has held pool parties from all corners of the world with differing vibes and forms of excitement, but never has it seen the likes of La Discothèque. The disco carnival prides itself on being be a place to let loose, dress to impress and get your groove on. From Monday 26th August for five consecutive Mondays they will be bringing their high energy disco haven to the warmer weather of the Balearic Islands with five killer line ups.
Their first sparkling line up features the legendary Derrick Carter, Soul Clap, Doorly, House Gospel Choir Soundsystem and Griff on Monday 26th August. Thus continues the discothèque to 2nd September with 2manydjs, Crazy P Soundsystem, Session Victim, Krysko and Griff. Then queue the glitter and confetti for world renowned Artwork, Greg Wilson, PBR Streetgang and Heidi Lawden on 9th September.
On 16th September, Norman Jay (MBE) will be joining the party along with Mo’funk The DJ and a return of both Derrick Carter and Crazy P Soundsystem. And finally on 23rd September, to close off the bonanza, Jeremy Underground will take to the ones and twos with CC:DISCO! and a return of Artwork and House Gospel Choir Soundsystem.
Encompassing disco and house and everything in between, expect high-energy and funky beats to make you feel fantastique. La Discothèque is an award winningly extravagant, glittering carnival that’s bursting with confetti, feathers, butts, boobs, sparkle, stilt-walkers, pink flamingos, gorgeous dancers and secret toilet sets. Get your swimsuits ready, glitter on and join the party! It’s no wonder that it has taken such a hit with party-goers across the UK and beyond …
During this summer La Discothèque will be also be doing a takeover in their hometown of Manchester to celebrate Pride weekend at everyone’s favourite party palace of Albert’s Schloss. Taking to a smaller stage, all day Saturday will see this time the weekend will see guest DJs, divine dancers, and a lot of dancing on tables!
