Manchester Cocktail Week is set to take over the city from July 3-12 after announcing major new partnerships with Spinningfields and St. John’s.
The highly anticipated10-day cocktail event, which celebrates the very best of Manchester’s cocktail culture, will see Spinningfields and St. John’s play starring roles in this year’s programme, hosting exclusive experiences and helping connect thousands of cocktail lovers with some of the city’s top bars and restaurants.
The landmark partnerships represent a significant step forward for the event, that is returning to the city for the third year, as it continues to grow its reputation as one of the UK’s leading cocktail celebrations.
Manchester Cocktail Week, which expects to welcome thousands of visitors this year, continues to champion the city’s world-class drinks and hospitality scene, and the iconic collaboration means plenty more venues will be brought to the attention of locals, and new visitors to the city, boosting footfall to the hospitality sector.
Spinningfields is home to a host of bars and restaurants taking part in the event, including Sexy Fish, Sticks ‘n’ Sushi, The Alchemist, Louis, Tattu, The Lawn Club, Thaikhun, Ocasa, Australasia and Habibi. Over in St. John’s, wristband holders can also take advantage of exclusive offers at Mollie’s, Fenix, Side Street and Pitch.
As part of the partnerships, Manchester Cocktail week will feature in a special edition Spinningfields newsletter bulletin and on the free Spinningfields app, as well as on the digital screens across both neighbourhoods and the new larger cinema screen in St. John’s. There will even be a trail throughout Spinningfields featuring classic cocktails, leading to each of the participating venues.
On the partnership, Gillian Fletcher, Director of Creative & Estates for Spinningfields and St. John’s, said:
“I am excited to bring Spinningfields, St. John’s and Manchester Cocktail Week together in a collaboration that celebrates the very best of Manchester’s hospitality scene. This partnership not only showcases the creativity of our venues but also strengthens our commitment to delivering exceptional, engaging experiences to our communities.”
The event is brought to the city by M.ad Agency, organisers of Cocktail Week events across the UK. Director Alice Christison added:“This iconic collaboration with Spinningfields and St. John’s is incredible for us, them and the city-wide venues signed up to this year’s event. Their venues are stunning and exactly what visitors to Manchester Cocktail Week will enjoy.
Anyone signed up to this year’s event are in for real treats. I would encourage everyone to grab some tickets for the best summer event in the city.”
Wristbands grant access to all £5 – £7 cocktails during the event, along with additional offers, including other cocktails and food, at selected venues.
