The Bovril Brigade descended onto City’s Etihad Stadium to protest that the club #BringBackBovril, just in time for the battle of the North – the Man City vs Leeds game.
The news comes as supporters of Manchester City took to social media to ‘kick-off’ at the news that the traditional half-time tipple, Bovril, was no longer available at their home ground.
The news caused such a ‘bovver’ that Bovril had no option but to head to the stadium armed with FREE cups of the beefy hot drink, helping to spread the message that fans want the footy favourite reinstated.
Man City fans were so pleased to see their favourite hot drink at the ground that they even begun chanting ‘BRING BACK BOVRIL, BRING BACK BOVRIL’ as they walked into the stadium.
