Magnum, the world’s authority on ice cream and chocolate, is turning the ‘break in case of emergency’ glass box on its head, by inspiring the nation to break into pleasure.
The ice cream brand is delivering complimentary breakable boxes featuring a tub of Magnum Double Salted Caramel to encourage the UK to reclaim their sofa as a place for pleasure and indulgence.
With 41% of people reporting they are more likely to work through their breaks working from home* and 51% have reported working outside of their contractual hours since working from home, Magnum has noticed that British living rooms have fast become the office – as well as the school, the gym and everything in between.
As days and nights have blurred into one, the sofa is no longer viewed as just a place to unwind and indulge.
This is why Magnum has once again teamed up with Deliveroo; this time to help Brits break away from the day and rediscover pleasurable evenings on the sofa with the Break into Pleasure box, which is designed to be broken into.
Simply grab your box, sink into the sofa and crack the inner layer of delicate sugar glass with a spoon until it shatters. Beneath the layer of sugar glass lies a decadent tub of Magnum Double Salted Caramel, velvety ice cream with cracking chocolate shards and a rich salted caramel sauce, encased in a thick Magnum chocolate shell that is, well, also made to be broken.
The Break into Pleasure boxes will be released at 17:00 on four random weeknights between the 19th and the 30th November. At 17:00, the @MagnumUK Twitter will announce when the Break into Pleasure boxes are available in Leeds, London, Manchester or Brighton – in that order.
