Whoever said money can’t buy happiness has never known the joy of purchasing a new house plant.

With studies showing that plants have the ability to boost moods and increase productivity, Kimpton Clocktower is launching a new global guest amenity programme, rolling out in April ahead of Earth Day (22nd April), to offer guests a mood booster straight from Mother Nature herself.

Introducing the Kimpton Clocktower “Plant Pals” Programme – a first-of-its-kind offering that provides regionally sourced plants for guests to enjoy in-room, upon request. Available from 22nd Aprilguests can simply call the front desk and request a plant pal during their stay, or arrange one in advance via the hotel’s website. Better yet, for every plant pals request at Kimpton Clocktower, Kimpton will also plant a tree on the guest’s behalf.

Each plant available to guests taps into Manchester’s iconic music history; from Leaf Order (New Order) to Wonder Pot, inspired by the hit song from Oasis, there is a whole catalogue of plant pals for guests to choose from.

Plant Pals is the latest addition to the hotel’s extensive wellness offering, when you stay at Kimpton Clocktower there’s a yoga mat in every room for guests to stretch it out and complimentary Kimpton bikes to explore the city. The hotel also has a state-of-the-art urban fitness centre, housing world-leading cardiovascular and resistance training equipment by Technogym, rowing machines, free weights and more.

Kimpton Clocktower Hotel’s Plant Pals is available to all guests from 22nd April, for more info visit kimptonclocktowerhotel.com. Kimpton Clocktower Hotel’s Manchester Weekender is also available to book via the website. ‘Double Double Standard’ rooms start from £253 and include £50 F&B allowance per stay to be redeemed in The Refuge.
