Greater Manchester firefighters have been tackling a portacabin fire on Bradley Lane, Stretford overnight

The fire involved two commercial units containing vehicles and machinery.

The blaze has been producing a large amount of smoke.

People who live nearby, were being advised to keep windows and doors closed.

The fire service tweeted

“We have 5 fire engines at the scene, with crews working hard to control it as quickly as possible.”

The fire was brought under control, with firefighters successfully preventing the fire from spreading to other nearby units.
