Wigan would have been out to avenge their 5-0 defeat to Rochdale previously in the season. A thrilling six-goal match had everything, a red card, last-minute equaliser and a match that was back and forth for 90 minutes.

A 95th-minute equaliser from Humphry’s rescued a point for 10-man Rochdale against fellow relegation strugglers Wigan.

Despite taking the lead after seven minutes Wigan went ahead inside 15 minutes through Lang. Beesley pulled a goal back, only for Keane to hit Latics third with just over 10 minutes to go. However, Humphrys header deep into stoppage time secured the point and moved Rochdale further up the table.

Bolton despite dominating the match against promotion hopefuls Cheltenham, Bolton came away with a 1-1 draw through Doyles late strike. The draw sees Ian Evatt’s men languishing in 17th position in League 2 and are now winless in the league in their last five matches.

Salford City failed to capitalise on Newport being down to 10 men for the last half an hour of the match. The Ammies stay 5th in the playoff places after a drab 0-0 draw with promotion hunting Newport.

In the third draw for our teams in League Two, Oldham came from behind to win a deserved point. Oldham went behind just on the stroke of half-time. However, a much improved second-half display was enough to get them the point through Keillor-Dunn controlling a cross, taking a touch and slotting past Roberts.

Into non-league and Curzon Ashton played their first match of 2021 coming from behind to equalise through Dominic Knowles. The point pushes them up to 16th in the National League North and are unbeaten in their last three matches. in the FA Trophy, Stockport crashed out to follow National League side Notts County 2-1
