Stretford Mall is welcoming a Winter Wonderland Family Hub in the build up to Christmas Day.
The festive experience will be open on the 18th and 19th December and on Christmas Eve, and is the perfect way to celebrate the magic of Christmas with the whole family.
Located in the centre of Stretford Mall, the family hub will host an array of festive activities for kids and families and it’s all completely free.
There will be Christmas crafting with lots to do including making reindeer food and letter writing to Santa, plus the very special cinema club will be showing festive films The Gruffalo and The Stickman.
The Gruffalo Trail will launch on the 18th – a chance for children to spot a host of characters from the much-loved children’s book for a chance to win a £50 voucher to spend anywhere at Stretford Mall. Beautiful illustrations have appeared on windows right around the Mall and beyond – from squirrels, frogs and robins to the Gruffalo himself. Maps can be collected from the Winter Wonderland experience and from the large “Love Coffe” unit at the Mall.
Mulled wine, coffee and cakes will all be on sale throughout, and there will even be appearances from the Big Man himself.
Hosted by Stretford Mall and the Play Cafe, it’s a chance for families to come together for festive fun and to support local community causes too as there will be a pyjama collection for the Trafford Domestic Abuse Service. The local charity are looking for new pyjamas to gift to the families that use their service this Christmas and Stretford families are welcome to bring PJs to the Family Hub on 18, 19th or 24th December.
