Corn Exchange Manchester has confirmed Döner Haus as the newest addition to its eclectic dining offering.

Set to open later this year, the huge restaurant will serve Berlin-inspired quality kebabs and other German classics, alongside beers and cocktails.

The 180-cover restaurant will take over the former Byron site in the iconic Grade II listed city-centre building, which faces onto Cathedral Gardens and includes dining space in the atrium. The first-floor space will also be transformed into a stylish bar area.

Kebabs start at £7.70 and are served on sourdough fladenbrot, with other dishes including flatbread, schnitzel and a foot-long frankfurter or bratwurst. Vegan options include falafel bites, a vegan schnitzel and a veganwurst.

This will be the second site for Döner Haus, which currently has a popular restaurant in Glasgow.

Corn Exchange is one of Manchester’s premier dining and leisure destinations, with 12 quality restaurants, an Escape Hunt and a luxury aparthotel, Roomzzz.
