For many commuters, the cost of train station parking can often be an infuriating additional expense, but which train stations are asking for the most money when it comes to parking prices?

A new study, by Veygo, has looked at the daily parking rate at the 100 busiest train stations, outside of London, to reveal the most expensive car parking prices the full list is available here.

The UK’s most expensive train station parking (per day);
  1. Reading – £25

  2. Glasgow Central – £24

  3. Edinburgh – £22

  4. Manchester Piccadilly – £21

  5. Sheffield – £19

The research also looked at London’s busiest stations to reveal how much a day’s parking costs;

  1. St. Pancras/Kings Cross – £40
  2. Waterloo/Victoria/Paddington/Kensington Olympia – £30
  3. Richmond – £17.20
  4. Barking – £15
  5. Surbiton – £12.10

The research only includes train stations with their own car parks.
