HOME Bar and Kitchen at HOME Mcr will host a FREE kids pizza making class on the first Sunday of every month as part of their new roster of family friendly activities. There’s also a fabulous new roast on the menu, plenty of space for families of all sizes and an awesome aeroplane-inspired kids menu that is ready to, quite literally, take flight.
The Kids Pizza Masterclass is a completely free chance for kids to try their hand at becoming little Pizzaolios as they join the HOME Kids Pizza Academy. Parents can sit back and unwind with a coffee (or get involved if their little one needs help) whilst the kids get busy with the pizza dough and toppings. Once their creations are complete, mini masterclass students will take their pizza into the kitchen, say hello to the chefs and present their creations. While the pizzas are baking the whole family can take their seats for lunch and order from the main menu.
HOME’s new Sunday roast menu includes 28-day aged topside of beef, slow roasted lamb loin, confit chicken and wild mushroom, all served with roast potatoes, a homemade Yorkshire pud, red wine gravy, and all the trimmings for just £15.50.
Don’t fancy a roast? Choose dishes like Slow Roasted Lamb served with tadka dal, kale pakora, and pumpkin seed dukkah; Korean Vegan Fried ‘Chicken’ (chilli spiced seitan, Korean BBQ sauce, chips, kimchi slaw) and Chargrilled Harissa Chicken Bronzer with hot sauce mayo, coleslaw, served with chips and hot sauce drip.
Kids can then dip into HOME’s post-pizza ice creams. As well as providing crayons, HOME’s kids menus have also been cleverly designed to be made into a paper aeroplane so kids can tap into their inner engineer – and there’s plenty of space outside in the First Street piazza for paper aeroplane racing.
The kids’ pizza masterclasses will take place on the first Sunday of every month. The masterclass is free and includes kids’ pizza making and pizza – the places at the masterclass are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
