Families in Cheadle can now have the sofa of their dreams without the fear of children causing grubby finger, dirt or food stains.
The new Aquaclean fabric range at Habitat means any unexpected spills can be easily removed using only water, so there’s no need to compromise style for durability and light coloured sofas are no longer off limits.
The revolutionary fabric uses stain repellent technology that is made, not sprayed, and easily and effectively removes stains. Unlike other fabric treatments which are only effective on surface stains every fibre of the fabric is protected with an invisible coating that ensures any stain can be cleaned quickly using just water, helping to protect the sofa against whatever life may throw at it.
There are two different fabric types available perfect for any home, including velvet and tweed cotton in seven different colour variants, including a range of jewel tones, which is set to be a popular trend for 2020, with fashionable millennial pink and emerald green.
James Lowe, Sofa Expert at Aquaclean, said: “We know that parents constantly worry about sofas as they are an investment piece for the home, and with kids around they are definitely put through their paces. Aquaclean fabric takes that fear away and means that parents can relax knowing their sofa only needs a few drops of water to look brand new again.
“Habitat has always been known for its stylish, individual furniture and we’re really pleased that Aquaclean is joining the fantastic offering and will be available in their Cheadle store.”
“We’ve recently expanded our fabric collection on upholstery to include over 500 new colours and variants and we’re particularly excited to introduce Aquaclean fabrics in trending colours following feedback from our family customers who want a bold, statement design but feel they need to opt for “safer” choices”, comments Eleanor Davies, Senior Buyer for Furniture at Habitat. “Customers can now choose exciting statement pieces with our durable build quality in a fabric which will withstand tough everyday family living, and that will continue to look as good as the day they bought it.”
The full range launches in Habitat November 2019 and is available at Cheadle’s Mini Habitat, housing over 600 products with the full range of over 5,000 products available to order in-store. The full range is also available at all Habitat and Mini Habitat stores across the UK, as well as http://www.habitat.co.uk. Prices start from £895 for an armchair and £1,300 for a two-seater sofa.
