If you feel you might have overindulged over the festive period, January brings an opportunity to make plans and start again if you want to.  However, it’s a really, really long month (everyone knows January really goes on for about three months) and if you’ve made a New Year’s resolution that involves denial, things can get tough.

If you are planning to reduce your alcohol intake, or cut out the booze altogether, here are a few offers and events that might make you enjoy your month of virtue.

A magic potions brewing & tea mixology workshop at Bird & Blend Tea Co.

On 27th January Bird & Blend Tea Co. on Church Street will host a new workshop for those keen to learn the mastery of potion making whilst mixing tea.  During the 2.5hr workshop, guests will be taught how to conjure up shimmering, colour changing and whimsical potions with smoke swirls, and aromatics.  As a VIP guest, wannabe magic & mixology makers will be treated to unlimited amounts of tea from an exciting selection of blends or tea cocktails.

All guests will discover a range of tea blends and learn how to create elaborate tea infused potions. The expert Bird & Blend Tea Mixologists will guide guests through the sensory experience and arm them with the secrets to recreate the magic at home.

Tickets cost £45. Book via Bird & Blend Tea Co.
