Pong & Puck

Shuffle your way down to Pong & Puck to enjoy 2-4-1 on selected cocktails from 15:00 – 17:00 every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday throughout May – and why not enjoy whilst sitting at Pong & Puck’s newly opened, heated (and covered) outdoor terrace.

Enjoy retro-inspired cocktails or giant beer towers to share over a competitive game of shuffleboard or prosecco pong at the brand-new venue inspired by the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s.

Sip on cocktails like ‘Holy Puck’, a naughty blend of vodka, tequila; Midori; Cointreau and Karma raspberry lemonade for £10.00, and ‘WHAM! WHAM!’ (the perfect way to wake you up before you go, go), featuring gin; Cointreau and Irn Bru for £8.00. Or treat your mates to a Simmer Down and Pucker Up sharer for £20.00 – a blend of rums infused with chilli, Bitter Truth Pimento, lime and passion fruit. Book a slot here.

The Mews

Wine and cheese lovers unite! Great Northern’s stylish charcuterie wine bar, The Mews, has launched a 90-minute offer of bottomless drinks, accompanied by the ultimate gooey cheese fondue, with plenty of the finest meats, breads and crackers – so you can sip and dip for £35pp.

On the bottomless drinks, there’s a selected menu with options including South African Cabernet Sauvignon (red), Spanish Chardonnay (white), Spanish Tempranillo (rose) or pints of house Pilsner. Meats on the meu include delicious oak & paprika salami, garlic salami and smoked fiocca. And there’s plenty of bread options to try, including olive and chilli sourdough, or a selection of rye crackers for gluten free guests. Guests must book the fondue offering a week in advance, so get ahead and book your slot here.

If you’re not a fan of cheese, but a lover of drinks, The Mews, after work social offer includes options such as two for £10 on selected cocktails, £20 bottle of Prosecco, £12.50 bottle of wine, two for £5 on bottles of San Miguel and £25 for a meat or cheese board with a bottle of wine – the perfect choice for after work drinks in the bar’s large outdoor terrace

Alex’s Bakery

Whether you’re into sweet treats or savoury snacking, Alex’s Bakery has plenty of delicacies to pick up this Spring. Brand new on the menu is its delicious Grilled Sandwiches, made on appetising sourdough bread from Wye Bakehouse with a range of fillings to choose from. Or, for a sweet surprise this spring, guests can pick up the delightful Oreo or Kinder flavoured Rocky Road to enjoy at the bakery or take home for loved ones. Browse the menu here.

Fancy something sweet in the heat? Available only at the famed burger restaurant’s Great Northern Warehouse venue, Almost Famous has launched a range of delectable ice cream cookie sandwiches. The new dessert consists of two freshly baked cookies with Cheshire farm ice cream wedged between and rolled in a biscuit crumb. Platzki

The hotspot for modern polish cuisine, Platzki has just launched a brand-new menu for spring. On the menu is the Krokiet, a crispy fried pancake with polish black pudding and an apple and walnut rocket salad, and Oscypek, a traditional polish smoked cheese from Zakopane served with juniper berry and plum marinade and a hint of brandy. Evuna  

At Deansgate’s stylish Spanish restaurant, Evuna, guests can enjoy three tapas plates for just £14.50 this season, served until 4pm from Monday to Sunday. With a range of classic Spanish dishes, including the Hot Chorizo with Potatoes and Padron peppers, and the Calamares – Deep Fried Squid, there’s plenty of choice for the whole family. James Martin Manchester

Celebrate the return of James Martin’s much loved tasting menu this May, where guests will sample five courses of the best contemporary British fine dining for just £36 per person.

The menu, which focuses on locally sourced ingredients and dishes full of flavour, features the likes of monkfish ceviche and wood roast squash with Yellison curd tortellini, sage and pickled pear.

Another Hand

Wine and dine at Another hand, the latest hidden gem to arrive on Deansgate Mews. Featuring an open kitchen with Japanese grill, the restaurant’s evolving evening menu offers small plate dining in an immersive setting – perfect for sharing and exploring new tastes.

Another Hand’s ever-changing menu features a range of small plates, including the highly praised beef tartare with celeriac, nasturtium caper and cured yolk, and the decedent Dormouse chocolate desert with beetroot and olive oil. Guests can also enjoy a selection of all natural wines, craft beers and seasonal cocktails.
