Manchester’s Instagram-famous, queue-round-the-block, bakery and café is heading to Trafford this Christmas opening a 30 seat Gooey Café within Selfridges.

The pop up will be home to the brand’s hugely popular warm, gooey cookies and sugar-coated stuffed brioche donuts and they’ll also be serving a selection of barista made coffees, soft drinks and boozy hot chocolates. Diners at Selfridges will also be able to enjoy a whole new selection of exclusive sweet festive treats including the Smore’s Cookie Pie, The Snowman Choux, Chocolate Orange Layered Cake and Gooey’s Christmas Millionaire Twist.

Shoppers can pop by and pick up a sweet treat, take home a box of goodies or enjoy a break from shopping in the café which will be open Monday – Sunday in line with Selfridges Christmas opening hours.

The Christmas Cafe by Gooey is part of this year’s Selfridges’ Christmas theme, Season’s Feastings, a celebration of the power of food to bring us together. Selfridges will also be offering customers suggestions for setting up, dressing up, gift giving and merrymaking, as we come together with friends and family to enjoy Christmas rituals.

Those looking for an extra sweet Christmas experience can join Gooey for Afternoon Tea with Santa every Thursday and Friday in December, and Breakfast with Santa every Saturday and Sunday in December. He’s going to need a bigger Santa suit!

The Selfridges Christmas Cafe by Gooey will open in Selfridges Trafford from Tuesday 1 November.
